It has a 3.2-gallon bowl with vertical and horizontal augers inside that churn to keep the product mixed together consistently. Under these augers, a pan holds product and stays cold to ensure the drink always maintains the right temperature. Because the bowl cover has a built-in LED light, customers can clearly see the beverage, promoting impulse buys.
This Fetco FC1 frozen granita machine (PEL0101) has a sanitary condensation bypass system, meaning water that collects on the outside of the bowl is directed into the drip tray without contaminating the dispensing spout. Equipped with a seal-less drive system, this unit eliminates the need for seal replacements and issues that might require preventive maintenance. Controlling this unit is straightforward, while on-board diagnostics tell the operator when there is an issue.
